Underbroiler Low Fridges usually feature drawers so that gastronorm pans can be placed directly into the chiller. With multiple drawers, some low boys can be configured so that each drawer is set different temperatures. Some premium models also have the flexibility to operate as a freezer, or a fridge freezer – hugely versatile in the professional kitchen.

Maintaining temperature even when opened and closed repeatedly, therefore, temperatures in a hot kitchen will not affect the drawers and will work quite comfortably next to fryers and ovens. The drawers are also designed to suit user needs. The temperature dial is adjustable to 0.1°C allowing for extreme precision. Additionally, with multiple drawers available, one drawer may be set to work as a freezer in minus temperatures while the other can work successfully and hold plus temperatures, acting as a refrigerator.
